What are "Traditional" targets?
These are the "Bullseye" type of target which are more or less standard for competition shootiong. I have a collection of these for various occasions and contests. I seem to have generated some controversy about close range targets because I modified the ring size and the bull size. This was done becuase scaling down longer range targets created a situation where it was impossible to hit a single scoring ring on a target. The rings are narrower than the pellet. It got to the point where a normally accepted target had rings 3.5mm wide so it was possible to land dead centre in a scoring ring but you would either get one point more, or one point less than the ring you hit (inward or outward scoring) but not the value of the ring you actually hit. This seemed wrong so I redid the targets to accomodate a .22 pellet.
Why there was an outcry I am unable to say because as Magicniner of the UBC says "People get the wrong idea about targets. The rings are not there to tell you how well you have done. They're there to tell you how much you missed the bull by."
I have now switched to providing as many targets as possible in a single .PDF the ones directly below will download (mainly) singly. The ones at the foot of the page come down in one file. Just hit the top left target on the lower group.
Regardless of that pick the target you want and have a good shoot.
